![]() Only at MidnightA Poem by Ironbutt![]() When the mind wanders, who dares follow?![]()
This piece was inspired by a poet who possess the masterful ability to paint eloquently with her words, Neva Flores. Thank you.
I seem to only cry at midnight.... the deafening silence of the room awakes me..... Yesterdays ghosts tussle all about my memory ... opening doors , doors that are not meant to be tampered with. Storms of thoughts and failures rush passed the open window of my mind.... I feel the urge to run....run to where ? Midnight passes and the sounds of Life calmly take over the shadows..... no trace of the midnight tears to be found... I feel the need to run.........and I respond to it... I run toward today.
