Dance Upon My GraveA Poem by Milena GruborIn the hollow
town where the sunlight fades, Echoes of
whispers weave through the glades. Your heart, a
hell hole, where the darkness invades, Devouring light
like a beast unafraid. With eyes like
serpents, you coil and lie, A web spun of
deceit beneath a blood-red sky. You are the bully
in the playground's gloom, The sinner in
disguise, heralding doom. Preying on the
weak while the world slowly dies, A specter of
malice hidden in cries. You starve for a
life you’ll never hold, But the monster’s
a friend, chilling and cold. Whispers dripping
softly, lies fall like rain, Innocence
shattered, caged by your pain. You bring the
sickness, sow seeds of despair, Your laughter, a
poison, fills the heavy air. Struck me three
years back, my life fell apart, You danced upon
my grave, you broke my heart. The doors of hell
crack open wide, All of your sins
come alive inside. Your laughter
echoes, infecting my veins, In this torturous
realm where only pain reigns. You’re the puppet
master, and I’m your prey, In this macabre
game where the light fades away. But I’ll rise
from the ashes, no longer confined, Feel the
vengeance burning, a fire unlined. I’ll shatter your
web, I’ll end your dark night, You think you’re
untouchable, a queen wrapped in spite. Dance upon my
grave, you cowardly shade, For the darkness
you’ve weaved will soon start to fade. © 2024 Milena GruborReviews
