Age Of Collapse

Age Of Collapse

A Poem by Groshelle
"

Small poem I wrote in the back binding of one of my books

"
                                             The meaning of this life
Is the sum of my decay
As the little boy I was
                                                Rots and falls away

I can relate to this mate. So very simple and yet so meaningful all at one. I am very impressed.

Thank you.
Life's not fair, is it? Why, of course not. Childhood is usually whisked away from you and you never get it back. Either that, or it rots from the inside out as you realize life isn't what you thought it was.
This wasn't exactly my most uplifting review. My apologies.

That's alright. This isn't an uplifting poem.
Such a vicious cycle, this thing called life!
This piece pretty much sums it up...

To tell the truth I'm not a writer. That's right! I'm a painter/illustrator. But whenever I'm drawing in my sketchbooks I always find myself jotting down story ideas next to little thumbnai.. more..
