Jack & SallyA Poem by dark rippleTwo sides of a coin Sally There's something in the wind, I finally feel free. Will run around and party till three. The shine caught my eye, what is it so fair? It spoke, "Come closer- that is if you dare." With caution I paused, but my walls tumbled down, So gleeful the eyes, the head that wore the crown. I've found you now, and with you I shall rest. Spill all my secrets, get it off my chest. What I now hide, darling, can you see? Behind the laugh, how much you mean to me. I gaze at the stars, they shine so bright. Is this how it feels, when all is right? I'll cook you a feast, I'll even be a tease, Go fetch the moon? Whatever you please. Rest your eyes now, you've had enough rums, I'll wake you up with a kiss, when the morning comes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jack Scream you b***h, I'm a demon of light. Don't think you're tough, I'll play you alright. The pounding of your heart, can you hear in my hand? I dare you to fight, to take your stand. As I trace your scars, you twist and turn, My nails in your skin, they start to burn. So carefree you look, with a smile on your face, Watch out fresh meat! Gonna leave you all fazed. Oh! Can you see? Your strings I control, What you gonna do? Go to the pole? Hush now! Don't talk, or I'll make you stop- With a swing of my hand, to your knees you'll drop. Engulfed by darkness, can you see my greed? Remember, your work here is to satisfy my need. And when I'm done with you, I'll crush you whole. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get to keep your soul.
