Something to SayA Poem by BA thought crosses the glassy surfaces of realization.
Straining, it crawls through into the caves beyond.
But it has become lost. It cannot find itself, let alone the way out.
Lips parting, breath rushing forth, yet something is caught.
Struggling to climb the willow tree, branches snapping at every movement, the light cascading through the fallen leaves as if the very sun were a pinwheel.
Yearning, hoping, like Sissyphus and his hill.
Yet nothing becomes of it. Still lost in the darkness of insignificance.
Now it turns to ire, clawing its way through the hallway.
Pushing, shoving, brazenly advancing on any that lie in its wake.
It nears the light it has been so yearning, and with it comes help, a guide in the way of harmony.
But then it stops. It realizes that after all of the ire, all of the vexation, and all of the despair...
