Hour of Darkness

The hour of darkness is upon us

showing no sign of slipping away

Bringing fire and pestilence and carrying on the wind

Sing unto the heavens for release in this trying hour

and call upon your gods and if they should care

 

The hour of darkness is upon us

showing no sign of slipping away

Tearing families from each other

tearing love apart and from our hearts

 

The hour of darkness is upon us

showing no sign of slipping away

gripping up our greatest joys and casting them away

life amid the madness can tare but only for so long

The strength is always inside us, the strength to go on

 

The hour of darkness is upon us

showing no sign of slipping away

yet light there is still to wash away the sadness

it has always been in you to withstand the trials

to shun away the darkness for you are the light
