Words Of Anger

Words Of Anger

A Poem by Eli
"

I usually don't write poetry so bare with me on this one.

"

Words of anger I don’t regret

Timely voices my heart upset

Obsessed with thoughts of pain they would feel

I find comfort I must reveal

Sense my wrath let fear abound

You cut me open and my love drowned

Swearing through and through you were right all along

Though reason is not yours to comprehend

But where reason lay I began

I see your heart which none can mend

Words of life with sin in them

Pleasant be your kindhearted soul

To which I am blind

For all that is not of you or me has clouded the space between

Between reason and love there is naught but stress

Between love and hope there lies only less

Between hope and faith all has been oppressed

Undone were you from all that is right

Which is why mercy and not my hand shall fall upon you this night
