Maybe it’s not.

"

Maybe we’re all slaves to apathy.

Maybe we’re all chained to emptiness.

Maybe we’re all scared of things we cannot control

like rushing water 


and the way 


I’ll draw the curtains just before the Sun sets 


because I’m afraid of the dark.


Maybe its beauty is greater than my fear of the night.


Maybe it’s not.

the question of compassion rises? are there still good people out there? I have fun reading your poems sorry if i have reviewed a few of them, i can relate to most of your writings because we share the same perspectives on some areas.
