Help With My Crazy Course LoadA Story by Barbara PetersWhen I enrolled for my freshman year of college, I decided to take the maximum number of credit hours. My adviser told me not to do this; my parents told me not to do this. I didn't listen. I wanted to finish college as soon as possible and begin pursuing a career as an electrical engineer. After all, high school was a breeze for me, surely I could handle eighteen college credits in one semester. In retrospect, I wish I had listened. I failed to take the intensity of the courses I was taking into consideration. Since I had completed several hours of college in high school through the dual credit program and by taking Advanced Placement classes, I was enrolling in sophomore and junior level classes. In addition to this, most of my classes were lab classes that would require several hours of my time each week over and above the time I would be spending in class. In just a couple of weeks, I realized that I had really made a mistake. I didn't know what to do. Sure, I could enroll in fewer courses next semester, but how could I get through this semester? I needed to maintain a satisfactory grade point average to continue qualifying for scholarships. It was hard to do, but I called my mom and asked for advice. She told me to concentrate on Math, Science, and Engineering and to get whatever help I could in English and History. I followed her advice by contacting an essay writing service.
As everyone knows English and History courses are very writing intensive. In order to get good grades in these classes, one must expect to write multiple papers and essays. There wasn't any way I could keep up with this much writing and still do an excellent job in my other classes. I hoped that the essay writing service I contacted could help me out. This is why I took a leap of faith and made the final decision to go ahead and look into companies that provide essay writing service. I spent half of a day researching this topic on the internet and made notes on what I was looking for. I wanted to speak with real people either on the phone or via email. I wanted a guarantee that I would get a good grade. I wanted to be told that I would receive the papers in plenty of time to review them and turn them in for a grade.
I had to reject three essay writing services right off the bat, because their response emails were so poorly written, I knew I would not trust them with college level writing. When I moved onto the fourth company, I knew I had found a match. I felt as if the customer service folks really understood my needs and wanted to help me out. I explained to them that I just needed a little help to get through this semester. They asked to see what my assignments were and their due dates and assured me they could get them done on time. The end of this story includes great grades on the papers; the moral of this story is don’t do what I did your first year! © 2015 Barbara Peters |
