no more you

no more you

A Poem by Daniela

Make believe it never happened

pretend it never hurt.

Wipe away all the memories

that so quickly fade away.

Remember that he never was there

don't forget he never cared

Don't even remember all the moments that we shared.

It all came to an end

to me you could only be a friend.

When you came into my life,

you turned my world upside down.

It won't happen next time around.

I never was able to see

how you really can be.

Make believe it never happened

pretend it never hurt.

Wipe away all the memories

that so quickly fade away.

Remember that he never was there

don't forget he never cared.

Don't even remember all the moments that we shared.

You always told me the same story.

well, i'll never have to hear them again.

All the pain that you built inside me,

I could let it out now that your gone.

I never was able to see

how you really can be.

Make believe it never happened

pretend it never hurt.

Wipe away all the memories

that so quickly fade away.

Remember that he never was there,

don't forget he never cared.

Don't even remember all the moments that we shared.

I was falling apart,

now I can come back together.

No, I won't love you forever.

You don't mean nothing

you don't mean anything

you don't matter to me anymore.

No, I won't cry.

I won't face another goodbye.

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye!

Make believe it never happened

pretend it never hurt.

Wipe away all the memories

that so quickly fade away.

Remember that he never was there,

don't forget he never cared.

Don't even remember,

Don't even remember,

Dont even remember all the moments that we shared.

i think it could use as little fine tuning but i thought it was very passionate and sad

Although a sad composition, the imagery of unrequited love penetrates into the heart with empathy and reflection. Abraham Cowley one of London's Leading English Poet's in the seventeen century wrote;

"A mighty pain to love it is,
And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain
It is to love, but love in vain."

How true this is
