A Seed so Small as You

Been a while

A seed so small as you
Just now planted in the ground,
Is starting life as an new
Wondering what will come abound

You of course have come from somewhere
Just as all small seeds once did,
But from where we do not care
But where you'll be, that is

Will you be a tree with many leaves?
Growing tall and strong to the sky
So high one might dare to believe
You've left the earth behind

Or shall you be a flower?
With petals purple and pink,
More delicate and less power
Or so one might think

Will you be a blade of grass?
With many more of your kind
Growing so rapidly and so fast
Yet so very hard to find

So now your journey has started
Get going for it is long
It is time for us to be parted
And time to end this song

I thought this was really...whimsical! Lol! It just seems in some way very magical, with the flowers and the trees and the grass.
