Dear Tomorrow

Dear Tomorrow

Dear Tomorrow,

Please do not come

just stay where you are

as for Today,

please don't wander to far

for you were so good to me

so warm like the sun

but Tomorrow is rain thats ruining our fun

-

Today is so pleasant,

thats why its the present

just like a pheasant

that Tomorrow shot

to the ground

lost in the weeds

and never is found

Today is the clock

strapped onto a bomb

when the timer goes off

everything good is now gone

But the timer ticks just to twentyfour

the tails Today tells shall then be no more

Aw, poor Kelly! I hope "tomorrow" wasn't super bad! And I agree with Sasayaki. :)

You're pretty creative, Kelly! I loved this poem! Irena's review sums up mine :)

I love this... especially the down part and the stanza "today is the clock strapped onto a bomb when the time goes off everything good is now gone"
I would just add some punctuation
It's a really great poem:)
