Worst poet ever

Worst poet ever

A Poem by kelly
"

our teacher gave us a list of poems we needed to write by the end of the year. that list inspired this poem

"

I can not see it through

to be able to write a haiku

As you can bet

i can't write a couplet

no matter how close i get

I am really bad

a writing a ballad

I tries to write a tercet

but i relized it wasn't worth it

Can someone give me some clues

on how to write the blues

Everyone will always laugh

at my Epitaph

The Titanic seems to mimic

the failure of my Limerick

But the one thing that keeps me sane

that eases my poetry pain

is knowing that at least i have a good quatrian

darn it

close

Author's Note

kelly
the joke at the end is that a quatrian makes up 4 lines and there are only 3, just in case you did not already know that
and stanza 4 was accually made by a kid in another class so i can not take credit for that

rofl Priceless! I beg to disagree though. The worst poet ever is one who never wrote a single line. :o) thanks for sharing the laughter!

This is another interesting poem of yours! You should think of a title for it instead of "Worst poem ever" because it isn't the worst poem ever :) lol
