Hands

i was drawing a picture of my hand when this came to mind

Where would we be

where would we stand

if the human being

did not have hands

 

The human is to it's hand

as a shark is to it's jaws

as a cheeta to its speed

as the hawk is to it's claws

 

We wouldn't be able to take a lock

and put a key inside

or tie a string into a knot

no matter how hard we tride

 

"Got to hand it to you"

would not have been said

if we all had paws instead
