Forbidden Love

Fear preaches in temple of forbidden love
A black eyed demon sweeps away contentment from the ancient grounds
Winds fills the cracks with dust of betrayals and lies
Spirits puzzled stare
And question,
Why? Love was supposed to be something divine
Why this seed of love was destined
To rot with the unholy soil of lust
Instead of ascending high to touch the heavens.

i really like this piece thematically...when love comes with so much guilt that we cannot feel heaven's passion...we cannot ascend with it but rather feel deceitful and sinful...it is either a bad love or we have been taught that feeling good should make us feel bad.

i like the questions contained in your writing...not necessarily just the literal ones...but what your writing asks...the rhetorical questions of life and love and conscience.
