The Other Woman

The Other Woman

A Poem by M.K. Jawdat
"

Hey it's just poetry, nothing personal :-p

"
She loves it so much, her little trick,
Of touching his heart with her priceless smile,
pretence of negligence in her serene manners,
Careful to let love reflect
In every quick gaze and
Many nonchalantly spoken words,
Writing on the paper of his mind,
'I care', with every casually sent text message,
With everything she says, does and wears,
Everything she becomes,
To let a silent ticking start inside him,
To say to him without speaking,
'I am better than your wife'.

Very spicy indeed, but with a lot of relevant commentary to modern culture and technology (with regards to the text reference). You've said much in a small piece...well done :)

thanks ......
not just poetry ... sharp and raw ... keeping it real poem on a process that, once ignited, forgets what destruction and pain can ensue ... wisdom for all ..it starts as a tweek in the mind ... some call it sin ... i think you made your statement with precision and deliberate lightening strikes ... well done ..perhaps the reading can bring the recalcitrant back to the fold .. very strong poem says i ..

thank you ......
A amazing poem. When someone want to give all without the requirement of everything. It can tempt the best of men. The strong description allowed the reader to know her limits and I like the ending. The poem was outstanding.

Lol. Thanks . . . . . . . .
This definitely isn't entertaining if you're the wife, and when she finds you sexting her hubby, you better run...ha, nicely pen'd....happens all too often.
