Emptiness

As the storms of life swirl around about me

There is another one brewing deep down inside

A whirlwind of hurt and of anger and of confusion

That is slowly eroding away the very core of my being

The core of who and of what I am until nothing of me

 remains and I become just an empty shell of a man
