Despair

The darkness threatens to engulf me

Pulling me once again into its cold embrace

For I have once more been left alone

Abandoned to fall into the depths Of despair

All because the light of love that was in my life

Love that once surrounded and sustained me

Love that kept the darkness at bay, is gone

Without my Love, I am doomed

Doomed to wander alone

Lost forevermore…
