A Deadman's Prayer

A Deadman's Prayer

A Poem by grayday104
"

A deadman's redemption

"
One in the chamber one last shot
One way out like it or not
A deadman's prayer
a shot goodbye
Here I lay cold i lye

One headshot never enough
A deadman's prayer waking up

Flames and fires
My lonely tombstone
Full of regret died alone

Buried in a box dig deep to find me
Brought below by my depravity
A rash act of impulsivity
Here I remain for eternity

A shaking hand and a loaded gun
Sealed my fate
Never again to see the sun
Yes I pray for what won't come
A deadman who longs for the sun

I'm a deadman who gave it away
Threw in towel over things people say
Didn't think take a moments delay
Now a fiery land is where i stay
I'm in hell but yet I pray
To take back my actions of my darkened day
Listen to me and words that i say
Don't waste your life or throw it away
