For the Dark Hours of the NightA Poem by grayday104Werewolves and Vampires hunting out love
I'm a vampire who's lost his urge to bite
Seek a companion for the dark hours of the night My fangs grow dull and thirst stale In search of a second to carry this tale Been damned by day The night my abode Hunting out life For when I'm alone Pleading for pity from death or love Please spare a night bat and deliver a dove These hours cold with endless dark I behest a beauty for this still heart A wolf in search of what he doesn't have Pursue out a pack as live in the drab Betrayed by the moon A rampaging buffoon Hunting through dark like as I rage like a loon Howling my across the lands For heart, flesh, and her fur covered hand © 2013 grayday104Author's Note
