A Poem by gravitylava

this ship's sinking like the temperature
of a small little boy
his body was on fire,
but now he's healthy and we're gone
under the waves as the mercury sinks
it's a sacrifice for double meaning
the way your heart is so overdrawn,
colored out of the lines
at the library we would have stolen
I think you could steal anyone
'cause your eyes make the world disappear
into windows of neither night nor day
you strangle me with genius
until I yell out in jealousy
that you're a self-absorbed a*****e
even though you're my hero
well d****t, I feel like I'm dying
no matter how much you love me
my mother never will
I'm still preoccupied with lesbians
and every time I try to go to sleep
I hear people crawling around inside my head
I lay my past out as a map for you
but it's always a struggle to remember
the way I used to be
