A Poem by gravitylava
"

a circle does not

"

don’t ever watch, waiting to hear me say I need you,

I wake up at 4 and the world groans a little louder,

“I need you, I need you”

so I make circles around the house,

small swan dives across the doorstep until I am homesick again

I take risks so you might never have to know me

because we will never get what we want

because if everything I do makes me cry, I can claim beauty,

I can turn your back on the crowd and say, “there!”

I will get away, I will let it drop,

just don’t ever watch.
