Her Afterglow

Her Afterglow

A Poem by Gravity

Some days I am
the light expanding
over the horizon,
illuminating and inspiring
with my bright hues.
While other days
I am the shadow
behind the willow tree,
unnoticed and content
to lay there in her afterglow.
