Chapter 7A Chapter by Hazel Hyacinth"The Locket"After Jasper’s and Rosemary’s intimate day in bed, Jasper went out to buy something for Rosemary. He went to a jewelry store and looked around for awhile before deciding to buy a heart-shaped locket. He bought it and took it home to Rosemary. When he got home, he crawled back in bed with Rosemary and handed her the small black box. “What is this for?” Rosemary asked. Jasper replied, “For letting me make love to you. You’d be surprised. Many girls are afraid to do what you just did.” “Oh Jasper, you didn’t have to do this. The experience was the gift.” Jasper smiled and said, “Then it’s just a gift for loving me like you do.” Rosemary giggled and opened the box. She gasped when she saw the locket, and she fondly said, “Jasper, this is beautiful!” He grinned and replied, “I’m glad you like it.” She smiled and said, “I know just what I want to put in it.” “What?” asked Jasper. She looked at him and asked, “Will you let me do something?” “Anything you want.” She grinned and got out of bed. She returned a few moments later with a pair of scissors. She sat down across from him, opened and closed the scissors a few times, and asked, “Would you mind unbuttoning your shirt for a moment?” Jasper gingerly did so, and he asked suspiciously, “What are going to do to me?” She giggled and said, “I’m not going to hurt you.” “You are so lucky I love you,” he teased. She smiled, and once his shirt was unbuttoned, she carefully snipped a small clump of his chest hair. Jasper smiled and asked, “Oh yeah?” Rosemary put the hair in her locket and replied, “Yeah.” She closed the locket, then put it around her neck. Jasper didn’t bother buttoning his shirt again. He deeply kissed her, and he never wanted the buttery kiss to end. Unfortunately, it did when Jasper’s telephone rang. Archie was on the other line, and Jasper held Rosemary close as he told his friend about the new love of his life. Jasper was so proud, and Rosemary could hear it in his voice. © 2015 Hazel Hyacinth |
