Infinity Lake

Infinity Lake

A Poem by Rachel DeHart

I am

caught some where

between

                                here

                and                        there.

Love is a     pow a full

    thing.

that vast lake you see

                                and know that it will

be there              that you drown

because

                    something that             expansive

can not be anything other than

engulfing.

                                a fate that you                  know

you’d dive into

                for nothing

                                repeat nothing

could feel better than knowing

you’ve been swallowed by infinity.
