The bowel movement, movement

     s**t splattered words

on cracked porcelain;

dyslexia, diarrhea, dismorphia

dis - tense and differ - ence 

of dissatisfied druids, dead beat dreamers

dionysian disaster dystopian derelict

dharma dissemblers

drooling dirty dirt water duets into

a broke

            n, sky of dulcet demanding demands

the effluent of mis - abused

( Language ! )

gargled vowel and syntax

swallowing the discarded ruins 

     of body digest

drinking piss - like whisky/

/spitting howling blues - like

haiku

in jazz trumpet and green rain ;

and the essence

             and the essence

sucking in the black smoke of sound

the duende of a broken cross

      mutilated by artists

             and poets

and the anarchist leanings of the Chomsky mind

I've always wondered about the old-timey phrase "bowel movement" . . . & now you've obliterated that little nicety from my youth. I love all the ways you over-extend alliteration, along with other word crafting I'm too illiterate to name, in such a way that you're illustrating the spewing s**t that some writers (me at the top of the list) engage in poetic masturbation (my name for it, but you've redefined it as something distinctly more s****y). I love how your overdone alliteration is actually very well-done, even tho it's a spoof on those who write that way pretty regularly. Then your poem goes off into avenues not fully understood by me toward the end, but still loving your sparkling word-crafting in this part (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

hey, Margie, think you might have picked it up wrong, I wasn't trying to take the piss out of other writers ,or spoof their spewing s**t, the bowel movement poem was about my poyims, but thanks as always for your enjoyment of my poems, and your mostly eloquent, review, lol, take care over there,

Right now I'm spewing s**t becuz they just downgraded my area to an advisory! YAY! I've been on a mandatory evacuation notice for the last 10 days (I never left) & the fire was getting damn close, almost thought about evacuating a couple times, but now I don't need to worry! Whew!
