The Pig farmer poets almanac

The Pig farmer poets almanac

A Poem by gram linski
"

chapter 2

"
the pig farmer poet's almanac
-
Born from the mud
kicking and screaming
-
As if I knew
As if I knew
-
Endure through Strength
-
ha f*****g ha
the poet son's
pig farmer's blues
-
the scream and the crash
of bloodied sword
the whistling of a claymore
wind,
and the patronage
of royalty
I fight
I die
-
my poems
left to rot
on the pig skin hide
and the death squeals of night
of man
of beast
permeate the midnight soaked
howl
that escapes my soul
-
Son of McPigswill
strong and true
a quiver of stanzas
disrupting the low
bark and growl of the moon
-
" I will die for you, my Lord,
give me s**t to wallow in,
I am yours, I give my fealty
for some festering steaming piles of s**t,
-
to smear unjust poems
of history
of disbelief
over my bones
-
i will crawl through
the guts of man
I am born from
the mud
and from the mud
I grow
-
strong and true
Son of McPigswill
The Brotherhood of Man
-
I write this poem for you !
in the mud and blood
of a thousand squealing foes, "
-
poetry defined in the
bellies of swine

You have a way with wallowing in pig s**t, like no other writer I know. I don't mean this as a put-down, but rather, I admire the way you can depict the gritty aspects of life with such a smooth level vengeance, not dramatic, but impactful. You write like someone who's been there & back a hundred times. You have a very authentic way of presenting the s**t that life deals & the reader is sucked in to whatever scenario you're slopping at the moment. Yet, you don't dwell in pig s**t. You have a wide variety of different moods you can convey with similar poignant effectiveness (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
