Heads or TailsA Poem by gram linskisometimes
tired beyond two hundred years
with a black soul mind slipping, skipping, into despair or laughter never quite sure of the knife or the dream the pen manic depression - a state of mind but when the mind is mine ... well, trapped in half, the light and the dark no invisible line for ease or comfort all directions in a circular route but perfectly balanced above the precipiss knowing full well the helplessness I feel and the hopelessness of Life knowing also the Energy and Beauty of Art and Love watching the sky brighten from purples into pinks to softer blues or greys and the surge of heart in the dawn but feeling, unfortunately, the duality of both sides of the wall wondering tomorrow will I have the courage to die or the courage to live waiting for the height and depth of oblivion or not waiting for what we shall see as I swing through the moments of unclear possible madness maybe with shouts or bone wrenching screams maybe a twinkle in eye the transience of emotion fluctuating and beating the air like bat wings, encompassing, unsure of todays point of view smiling or frowning the rope or the fun the rose or the gun and the beautiful blissful blessed kiss of another different day
