The Good Turmoil

The Good Turmoil

A Poem by gram linski
"

Inspired by a line by Christine Anne Shaw

"
The bad turmoil is the worst,
it breaks yer brain
and snaps yer bones
and hunts you down
like a dirty dog
the bad stuff is
the black stuff,
smothering, killing hope,
euthanasia of the soul,
Ah, but the good stuff ...
the passion and madness
carousing through techno coloured
flashing strobes, buzzing
immortal,
A euphoric dance of synapses
shouting, ecstatic naked
in the rain
adrenalin coursing and surfing,
all hail the good turmoil...

maybe both kinds of turmoil are good...because it makes us write...those dancing synapses get ecstatic when running naked...and the only way to do that is risk the bad as well as the good...
but i am not fond of getting my bones broken...so i hope for the good turmoil more.

Well gram, I got a mention and I am thinking, "Now what line was that?" Turmoil is turmoil. My brain tells me that neither are to be welcomed, but if I had a choice, give me the passion and the madness it brings. Thank you kind sir for the mention.

Well you know what they say about opposites :))

the one could not exist as it currently exists without the other.... an interesting and enjoyable juxtapositioning if ever there was.....

I did indeed...
Did you just steal my dog? Hell you can spill fast flowing, brittle, spittle filled verse with such ease. I have to say though your good stuff, in my 'professional' opinion makes you subject to detention under the 1982 Mental Health Act as it appears you are a danger to others and yourself!
