LossA Poem by Grahm Thoman
Loss
Alone Cold Frightened Unheard Mislead To interact and try; to never be
understood To smile and laugh, but never heard. To watch the feathers float and fall;
never to hear the bird sing To want and need, left to wonder down the
hall. The tears spill out of your eyes; yet
to not hear a single cry Slipping and streaming with no end,
to wait until they dry. To own such loss and hope. To never know. © 2013 Grahm Thoman |
