ExposedA Poem by ThaddiusYou're soft of skin hard of disposition I realize you could be my wife as you're sipping coffee and I joke about how I used to jitter. I knit your little truths into the turtleneck you're wearing, the chain that blocks me from your thoughts, the ideas I twist and start to choke you with. Each common thread, I know you less, and the more I think I show to you the less of me you see. You're wearing all your clothes I hand over my robe, meet your shudder with the softest of all gazes that a guy can give © 2015 ThaddiusReviews
