We zoom around in your low, low car
Late at night, too busy to look at the stars I giggle nervously at your jokes The jitters dwindle after we smoke You gaze into my dark eyes in search For something that does not lurk My smile fades at your realization I am shushed before I attempt to ration Instead of walking out like others You tell me of my importance and further Say I am worth more than people thought For you see a spark in my eyes they had not
