Took it slow, with no rush

You became my best friend

Gained all of my trust

 

Soon I realized

I loved you so much

You had stolen my heart

Though I had it locked up

I’d learned everything about you

Told you everything about me

I wanted to make you mine

For all of eternity

 

So I’ll keep your secrets

As long as you keep mine

Aw! :') This is such a sweet, cute poem! It's adorable! This story actually kind of seems life-like with the separation. I don't know how often you see people who stay together after school, college, or something similar. That just made it seem more realistic instead of just BOOM now we're together forever. I really enjoyed reading this poem! Great job! ;D
