The MysteryA Poem by Grace Elizabeth Flemingfrom "Still Small Voice"
What does the sea know?
What do I? A vastness Dark as the sun is bright Seeps Between the atoms of time Into the Mystery Some things Are too big to behold Too deep to fathom Too close to the hand Of God To fit behind flesh And comprehension Veined By the road not paved We all flow to the heart Of where time fails Reason recedes Knowledge ends And something else Flickers To life
