Waking up in Your Arms

Waking up in Your Arms

A Poem by Elizabeth Grace Williams

I wake up in your arms

What a sweet embrace

The warmth of your gentle breath

As you slumber still

Caresses my face

As though it were a feathers touch

So soft, so sweet

So enamored

Am I

Just to gaze upon that sweet face

Mesmerized by every detail

As though it were an angels face

I gaze upon

Oh how I long to reach out

To kiss those sweet lips

To get drunk off the taste

Of you, of our love

This is wonderful. You're been captivated by the depth of love. What better mornings are there then to wake in the warm arms of someone so special. You've penned this well.
