A Place in my Heart

 

 

I try to think the times I was naïve,

Fears are real and I can’t be brave,

Holding back tears in times of desperation,

But in my heart I want consolation.

 

It was a battle of winning my emotion,

They never understand an introverted person,

Though my eyes are glowing and later on smiling,

Nobody knows that deep inside its hurting.

 

Life is so good for me to know you,

So unexpected to get close to you,

You are a friend that treating me so true,

A place in my heart I always confide too.

 

When times my heart is in deep sadness,

You lend an ear so my pain will release,

That gloomy day of a dark horizon,

You lighten up just like a season.

 

Time will come that we’ll be apart,

Choosing new life for me to start,

You are a friend that I will remember,

Coz in my heart you have a place forever.
