Chapter 18:

“Gael. What do you think you are doing?” She said through clenched teeth.

“Training her. What are you doing in the gym you hate to work?”

“Alec sent me to tell you he wouldn’t be coming for jousting today because he didn’t feel too well but I don’t think you really care since you literally are all over Kate. I wonder what Joel would say about this.”

I got up off the ground and face Isabella.

“You know instead of being a b***h to everyone you should try a thing called being nice. But I’m not sure your capable of doing that to be honest. And Gael wasn’t lying when he said he was teaching me how to sword fight. But you walked in right when he knocked me to the ground. Go ahead, run and go tell Joel that your jealous because you’re not getting any attention.”

Gael chuckled quietly behind me.

“How dare you talk to me like that.” With that she stormed out of the room. I turned to Gael and helped him up.

“Thanks not many people stand up to her. But I’m glad you got the guts to.”

“Your welcome. She just gets on my f*****g nerves. Ever since I got back she has been a b***h to me. My opinion, she deserves what she gets.”

“Enough about Isabella. Let’s get back to how good you are at lying.”

“I swear that was my first time.”

“Yeah right.”

“How can I prove that was my first time?”

“Have dinner with me?”

“When?”

“Tomorrow night at eight. I’ll meet you in the garden and we’ll go from there.”

I nodded and then smiled. “Perfect.”
