Chapter 3A Chapter by Melissa AshleyMy eyelids fluttered open. I
looked around I was in a bright room. A woman was sitting at a desk on a
computer. She looked over. I shut my eyes as fast as I could but she saw me and
hurried over. “Good your up...I need to show
you something.” She murmured quietly in my ear looking around as if she didn’t
want anybody to hear. She helped me to my feet and then slid a needle into my
vein. I jumped in surprise. “Sorry it’s a saftey precaution
just in case you try to run I just have to push a button and then you will be
shocked till you fall.” “Oh.” We continued down the hallway
and after a few minutes I said I won’t. “Won’t what?” “Run...I won’t run.” I looked
her in the eye as I said this. “I know you won’t.” She smiled. © 2016 Melissa Ashley |
