Follow the Leader

John 8:12 applied to my life:)

 

They say “Lead your own life and the rest will follow.”
But, in leading myself I’m led only to sorrow.
Though, at times my own ways to me appealed,
their dark destination remained concealed.
For it's when the light of life guides the way
it is easy to see sin that comes when I stray.
So on this path to Heaven I now tread
I’ll leave the leading, and follow instead.
