A Dream - Wedding

A Dream - Wedding

A Story by Genafil Marie Sato Doblados

I never wished to have dreams of you,
Dreams that felt like so true.
Dreams that I should have gotten over with,
But still makes me feel blue.

A while ago, I had a dream
I was cordially invited to a wedding
And Surprisingly I saw, you were the groom
So fresh and fine, so I had wished I was the maiden
And I'll be your wife

Unfortunately, You said it wasn't me,
So I tried talking to you
Yet you have decided
And didn't change your mind.

You have chosen to marry
that young woman
who captured  both your eyes and heart.
Which caught me crying
inside a room, one whole hour.

And when the ceremony was about to start,
the sweet bride came close to me, and smiled.
And asked me to help her put on that smooth white vail,
that crown her to be your lawful  wife.

Then I joined the ceremony with a big smile on my face,
wishing to myself your last sweet embrace..

In that moment then, I woke up,
realizing that all of it was just a dream.

this was a dream of mince way back in college. It felt real so I wrote it down after I woke up.

Umm..... You wrote "Mince", I am assuming that you were trying to say "Mine Since"
The poem was great but I never thought of marriage yet but I did some thinking for my romance novel....... but it didn't go well.
