Recycled in the Refuse

Recycled in the Refuse

A Poem by gr8naynay
"

You'll see.

"
Super-human sadness
Engulfed me in her madness.
She ate me for her breakfast
And broke me in her digest.
S**t me out! To be reborn!
To know no fear; to feel no scorn.
Though feces be my afterbirth,
no thing exists to count my worth.
I've worked hard to emancipate
Myself from that Dragon
That loves its hate.
I have no place in this nothingness.
I'm the Big Bang in the black abyss.

First, hi :). Second...wow.

I had to speak this aloud, just to feel the flow it. It's immaculate, the rhythm. I almost started nodding and very nearly dropped a beat, just to see how it felt in song (your meter is on point). Moving on, I typically review anothers work based on the feeling provoked within me. This one, too me, feels as it seems to imply; rebirth. Instead of being risen from the ashes, as the Phoenix, you've brought us from the waste; it feels like a loss, though...like being reborn to no purpose, a being without being. That's what I get from it, anyway. So...in short, very well written, and deserving of very much thought.
