Without ThisA Poem by gr8naynayA cheesy love poem, but dear to my heartWhat if I never knew you?
And the promises we vowed
were never to be true?
Sad be the day you take your love from me.
It'd be like casting me to the bottom
of a rough, choppy sea.
You might was well take my heart from me,
For you know by your side is where I long to be.
And in that case take my senses too--
I want nothing of anything if its not about you:
The taste of your mout,
The scent of your skin...
The look of your face
when your mind's full of sin.
The sound of your breath
when you sleep next to me--
If I can't feel the passion
when you kiss me deeply...
Darling there's no other place
that I'd want to be.
Let the sky fall down,
I don't care.
Let the leaves turn brown
If you're not there.
Let the world stand still.
What is time?
Let the murderer's kill
if you're not mine.
But what if you, darling,
never knew me?
Would you feel something missing
from destiny?
Would you rather be alone
than with someone else?
Would love be meaningless?
Would you flaunt yourself?
The sweetest day is when I'm with you.
The deepest love see me through and through,
Oh, without eachother, love,
What would we do?
Sadness would be the bappiest conclusion.
Without this, darling, give me seclusion.
Forget this now,
take me in your arms.
Let me drink you in;
I am weak to your charms.
Forget this now,
let me kiss you deep,
and let's whisper the secrets
that we lovers keep.
