What's a senryu? A Japanese poetic form? You display a lot of delicacy and refinement in your poetry. I particulary liked the longer one I don't want you to stay and thought it could be set to music. You have optimally worked together the intermingling currents of love and frustration with the overtones of perfection which is first undefinable, or rather, too immensely and subjectively definable as everyone has his version of perfection that is some silly yardstick in selecting a soulmate "tethered" (I like that) to a quest for sanity, which is an interesting way of looking at love, not as a gift or a revelation, but as a tie to what we can only define as a reality then necessarily fraught with one's imperfections. A subtle weave. Thanks for the sharing. Please forgive the lack of numerical ratings, I cannot get used to it, yet Best of luck, Diana
I've had people that I felt this way about, and there is no greater feeling than to know someone else cares that much about you, too. I'm glad you posted this, I like it. :)
This is my favorite of the three you have posted. It says nothing, but contains everything. Simple and precise, it conveys the deepest emotion and desire one can hold for another. I like it!
