bullying

i hate bullying

they tease me 

why you cant see

you hurt me like crazy

and make me cry

when i look at the sky

i just want to fly

over the clouds 

when you hit me 

i scream so loud

i just want to be happy

please stop

I had to get a Doctor's permission to have myself removed from Gym Class permanently in 1984 in the 9th grade because the bullies in the Gym class were also in the Study hall. So I definitely have an understanding of the damage that can be caused by bullying. Oddly enough your poem their is inspiring me to write a few more poems and perhaps a play discussing the experience of hearing the news of a friend who I wasn't close to named Keith who was a victim of bullying who tragically wound up committing suicide nearly 26 years ago in 1986. Take care.
