thief and treasure

thief and treasure

A Poem by cloakedone

i am a thief without her treasure
justice has separated the coveted thing and me
to cold is justice ,to cold is it for me

it glimmers and it shines into the night without me
cold is its'  breath and still is its' nature
to cold is justice, to cold for my treasure

for when we,me and the wondrous treasure, rejoin
a new star will be born burning out the cold justice that took my treasure from me
for now i will dispense what they so freely gave and make them wish they were in their grave

i am  a thief empty handed waiting for her treasure to be given back
watching ,waiting for the day of the union of treasure and me

i am a thief waiting for her treasure rather impatiently
