Apple Lover

Apple Lover

A Poem by Felix Soto
"

I love to eat apples

"
The skin of an apple is smooth and tender
Like the clothes of a big time spender
It mirrors the colors of a flying phoenix
Erotic and alien as India's delonix

Teeth tears through delicate skin
Consuming the fruit of sin
Heavenly and wholesome favor is robust
It is more stronger than sexual lust

Fragments of the forbidden fruit
Traveling onto a certian route
Only memories of the taste remains
Nutrients are traveling through veins
