Cryptograph My Life

A Poem by gorillarock
"

A chapter of my life

"
a life gone right
the woman i love
puppy love for puppy
jobs in playland
a kingdom in a barn
that tech though
green grass grows
foreign affairs
a shift in gear
the woman i loved
puppy love for yeller
jobs in neverland
a kingdom in ashphault
the faceless voids
zero calories
salt water floods
a life destroyed

gorillarock
Written at a homeless shelter when I felt like my world was stripped from me. I feared for my mental health during this time and this is a shocking reminder of the crippling ability of depression for me. My thoughts never surpassed the length of each line, and each line carries it's own series of events that I hope to never re-live. Never again do I want to experience faceless voids, I love you all! I miss my dog (he is ok)

This is quite intriguing... and sad!
It starts out with a semblance of life, a potential for happiness to a life of emptiness...
I like the contrast from "a kingdom in a barn" to "a kingdom in ashphault".

Understandably, you do not wish to relive this. Thank you for sharing your story!
