Emptiness of Heart

Emptiness of Heart

A Poem by lavina k.
"

Trying to sum up myself after all the scratches...

"

Life without you seems to end up

Seeing the way it was before

The emptiness of my heart lighten up

When it was YOU in front of my eyes

The arms which heal my wounds

Has something to say which is

Still somewhere left unspoken

The bed which held me close to you

Has something to show which is

Still somewhere hid

The place which gave me solace

Has something to spread which is

Still somewhere untouched

Life is having its own color

But without you

Life is no where in power

Having you in my heart

Is deep down - a pain

Which cannot be secluded

By you ever again

Emptiness of my heart

Is not shown to you

But holding it tight

So never to fill it AGAIN...

This was just another way to pull out my emotions to make myself calm and contend without any means of crying...

its hard to contemplate a loss of love... it makes us walk life without feet... makes us colder outside with all those emotions running riots and needling through walls of the heart... but well as the wise men say we must leave it too time... nice write... the depth of emotions were great...... hope things turn our alright...

i know the feeling that you are explaining in this poem. there are some people in this life that really do complete us in some way and when they leave for good or are not there the way we would like, we feel empty, lost, and broken. a great poem and obviously a great way to release your emotions.

cry if you have too. never push down your emotions, i've tried it once and it was a horrible feeling when it all resurfaced at the same time. nice poem though

I understand this poem. Easy to block out emotion and feelings. Hard to block out places and memories. A sad poem. When you try to hide your heart. A coldness can overtake us. Better to run without fear I learn later in a life. Only way to forget pain is to create new pleasure. A outstanding poem. You made me think again.
