Sleepy desire

Sleepy desire

A Poem by Damon Favreau

Hours without sleep,

I need your touch,

Tired enough to weep,

Is a kiss too much?

Clawing at my eyes,

I miss your voice,

Reality saying goodbyes,

I need to make the choice.

Eyes burning red,

The nape of your neck,

More than a bed,

More than a peck.

Losing consciousness,

Your taste in my mouth,

Body gaining weakness,

I should travel South.

This sounds so lovely, i can feel that every line you wrote you mean with deep passion. Interesting idea on switching up every line, it created a beautiful rhythm...good job, your getting better and better at writing romantic poetry. :) i can not only just feel your desire, i know it...brilliant.

I could really feel the emotion when I read it, and felt the desire and need as well. Really good.
