![]() Midnight RainA Poem by Damon FavreauGlass of the window, Thudding with taps, Through nature it goes, And upon the glass it Wraps.
Wanting inside, This place that I abide, The liquid outside, Doth fall imperfect stride.
It pierces my lungs, With it's fine cold dew, It falls on my tongue, And hits my skin too.
And when I'm feeling sad, And all hope is lost, It makes me feel glad, That on me it drops. © 2011 Damon FavreauAuthor's Note
